New Combined Dining Facilities at Plants 1, 2 & 3

On Friday, 22 Jun., 2018, Navid Fazil, CEO Interloop Limited along
with Members of the Executive Board and Department Heads
inaugurated the new Combined Staff Dining Mess at Unit 2, Plant
1, at Faisalabad. Similar new Combined Dining Facilities were
set-up this year at Plant 2 and 3. These are well-planned premises
with modern infrastructure including spacious seating areas,
modern furniture, self-service counters, new crockery, waste
disposal containers, air-conditioning, natural as well as LED lights,
modern kitchen, stores, changing rooms, tuck shops, emergency
exits, etc. Multiple menu options are offered on subsidized rates,
with no discrimination of food and services to the executive and
non-executive staff. These combined dining areas serve food thrice
a day to all employees coming to work in different shifts at all
locations. The overall ambiance, operations and good quality food
under one roof drives the culture of mutual respect and trust, and
promotes equality, harmony and improved communication among

Vesak Lantern Competition & Ice Cream Dansala at Texlan Center

Another aspect of Vesak is the act of giving, which takes the form of
popular Dansala or free food stall. Texlan Center held an ice cream
Dansala on 1 May, 2018 at the factory premises as well as in
Minuwangoda City. The team distributed around 5,000 cones with
various ice cream flavours among participants.

Vesak Competition

Vesak is a religious & cultural festival in Sri Lanka, celebrated on
the day of full moon in May. Vesak lanterns, Pandols and Dansals
are significant features of this celebration. Texlan Center arranged
an Inter-departmental Vesak Lantern Competition on 28 Apr., 2018.
Quality team was the winner while Knitting team received the
second place.
