HEALTH & HAPPINESS
Eco - Friendly Houseplants
Houseplants not only look dazzling and brighten up the homes, but they are also a good source of mental and physical health.
The Feston Rose plant
Lantana camara or the feston rose plant has the most fantastic feature of bearing innumerable
flowers of variegated colors. This houseplant also tolerates highly saline conditions, lack of water,
scorching heat and billowing winds. This houseplant not only purifies the air in the house but also
leaves a beautiful aroma.
Snake Plant
The Snake Plant, also known as Mother-in-Law's Tongue, is one of the most recommended
plants for improving air quality. The optimal place to keep this relatively inexpensive and
low-maintenance plant is the bedroom as it converts CO2 into oxygen at night.
The Parlor Ivy
This beautiful houseplant is useful in cleaning up the air in your house. The Parlor Ivy has small
deep green colored heart shape leaves that simply mesmerize you and your guests. It is easier
to grow & maintain and successfully filters out unwanted and harmful chemicals in the house,
making the air fresh and healthy to breathe in.
Devils Ivy or Money Plant
Besides being lucky, it is largely grown indoors because it requires little care and is also
attractively leafy (stripes of green and yellow color). It is also efficient at removing indoor
pollutants such as formaldehyde, xylene, and benzene (in air from respiration etc.). Hence, it
purifies the air and keeps the surroundings fresh. If kept on a high shelf, this plant climbs down
as it matures. However, you should be careful that this plant is not ingested in any way even by
your own pet dog as it can cause physical sickness on consumption.

simple, proven techniques for becoming a more positive
person... This is a book for anyone who wants to put optimism to
work in their life with practical, proven techniques.
Positive thinking leads to positive outcomes. Study after study
proves this. Researchers have found that optimistic people live
longer, live healthier, have more energy, have more successful
careers, make better decisions, are more productive, are less
stressed, have healthier relationships, and (not surprisingly) are
much happier than pessimists.
However, a lot has been misunderstood about what it means to be
a positive thinker and what it takes to maintain an optimistic
mindset. It takes a lot more than repeating feel-good platitudes to
make positive thinking work in your life. It takes discipline,
commitment, and a proper understanding of what optimism really
means in a world that is constantly throwing new challenges at us.
This is a book for anyone who has ever questioned whether positive
thinking really “works.”
It’s also a book for those who have tried to develop a more positive
